Project Inline Quality / Robotics

In these areas, we simulate and demonstrate physically on an industrial scale through real “proof of concepts”, which can then be refined on an industrial scale.

Inline Quality encompasses both measurement technology (in the production process) as well as the use of other smart sensors (vision, laser, power, etc.) which enables controls in direct connection to, or during, the production process for the best possible quality. We are also researching possibilities with applied AI in image recognition to automate cognitive quality assessments.

The robotics part encompasses both industrial and collaborative robotics where new possibilities are being researched with, among other things, the above-mentioned technologies for the purpose of improving and rationalising (material and immaterial resources, productivity, quality) the production system.
